BEGINNINGS:  In the spring of 1999 I began selling perennials from the driveway of our home. A few dozen extra plants were gathered from our personal gardens and potted in recycled nursery containers. The original sale lasted just two weekends but I was hooked!  Thanks to loyal, repeat customers our plant sale has continued to grow each year.

KEEPING IT FRESH: Since the beginning I've worked to increase the variety of plants by propagating new babies from seed as well as by cuttings and plugs. Our repeat customers know there will always be something new to try each year.  While our focus is mainly flowering perennials I also enjoy sharing a few leafy shrubs.  Occasionally you may also find corn and pumpkin starts or annual sunflower seedlings.

"So what do you do when you're not in the garden?"  I own and operate a marketing consulting business, working one-on-one with small business owners.  We work as a team  to increase their company's visibility by setting them up with social media accounts, building websites, writing press releases, brainstorming business development ideas and much more.  Its personally rewarding work and a lot of fun!  You can learn more here:

WINNER!  We were excited to be recognized twice in Whatcom County's 2008 Whatcom in Bloom Awards Contest.  One for 'best residential garden over 1/2 acre' and the other for 'best maintained garden'.
